Statsdot in Looker Studio

The Statsdot connector for Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) brings your statistics into your own reports and client dashboards. You need a Statsdot account: sign up for a 30-day trial without a card and add your site first.

Connect

  1. On the API and MCP page of your Statsdot account, create a read-only token.
  2. Open the Statsdot connector for Looker Studio, allow it with your Google account and paste the token.
  3. Choose the site, click Connect, then Create report.

What you can chart

  • By day: Date with Visitors and Pageviews.
  • By dimension for the report's date range: Page, Entry page, Source, Channel, UTM campaign, Country, Device, Browser or Operating system, with Visitors (top 100).

A chart with Date and another dimension is not available: Statsdot gives either a daily series or a breakdown for the whole range. Use one chart for the trend and another for the breakdown.

The connector only reads; the token cannot change anything. Revoke it on the API and MCP page to disconnect. The connector sends your token and the report's date range to statsdot.com only, and Statsdot keeps no copy of your Looker Studio reports. See the privacy policy and the terms.
