No data in the dashboard

Check these in order:

  1. The domain matches. data-domain in the snippet must be the site as added in Statsdot, without www.
  2. The snippet is on the page. Open your site, view the page source and search for statsdot.com/js/script.js. Caching or optimisation plugins sometimes serve an old page or remove scripts: clear the cache and exclude the script from JavaScript combining or delaying.
  3. You are not testing locally. Visits from localhost are not sent.
  4. You have not excluded yourself. Run localStorage.statsdot_ignore in the console; if it shows '1', see Exclude your own visits.
  5. A consent tool is not blocking it. If your cookie banner blocks scripts until consent, allow Statsdot: it sets no cookies.
  6. A Content Security Policy allows it. See Content Security Policy.
  7. The account is active. After the trial without a plan, visits are recorded for 7 days and then recording stops.

Ad blockers may block analytics scripts for some visitors; that affects every analytics tool.
