Web analytics for agencies

Updated October 17, 2026

An agency runs many sites at once, and every client asks the same questions: how many visitors, from where, and is the campaign working? Here is a setup that keeps that simple.

One account, many sites

On the Growth plan, an account holds up to 30 sites, and the events of all of them count towards one tier. Add each client's domain and paste the snippet, or use the WordPress plugin on WordPress sites. The overview shows every site with its visitors of the last 30 days and the people on it right now.

The right access for each person

  • Colleagues: invite them to your team. Viewers see every dashboard; managers can also change settings and goals and add sites. Billing and deleting sites stay with you.
  • Clients: give each one a shared link to their own site. It is read-only, needs no account, sets no cookies and is not indexed. Team access would show them every site of the account, so keep clients on shared links.

Reports that arrive on their own

Turn on the weekly report for a site and its owner gets last week's numbers every Monday. For your own client reports, the REST API returns every number as JSON, ready for a spreadsheet, a slide or an invoice.

Show that it works

Set goals for what each client cares about (contact forms, bookings, purchases) and tag campaign links with UTM parameters. Then the conversation moves from "how many visits" to "which campaign brought customers".

Sell the privacy part

Clients increasingly ask about cookie banners and the GDPR. Cookieless analytics removes one of the main reasons for a banner. The free site check shows a client what their site loads today; it is a good start for that conversation.
