Install Statsdot on Framer
Updated October 16, 2026
- Open your project in Framer and open its settings.
- Go to Custom Code and add a script for the whole site.
- Choose the start of the
<head>tag as its place and paste your snippet:
<script defer data-domain="yoursite.com" src="https://statsdot.com/js/script.js"></script>
- Save and publish the site. Custom code only runs on the published site, not in the editor or the preview.
Framer may require a paid site plan to publish custom code. Check your plan if the snippet does not appear on the live site.
Domain
Use the domain your visitors see, for example yoursite.com. If the site also opens on Framer's free subdomain, add that domain as a separate site only if visitors really use it.
Page changes
Framer can switch pages without a full reload. Statsdot follows that navigation through the browser's history API, so every page is counted without extra settings.
Forms as goals
If your form sends visitors to a thank-you page after they submit it, make that page a goal in the site's Settings (the cog next to the dates), for example /thanks. If the form shows a message on the same page, there is no page to measure; send a custom event with window.statsdot.track('Contact') from a code component instead. More in Events and goals.
